We are currently determining interest for a 10-Day Vipassana retreat in 
December.  Gen-la will be back in November and he is very interested in 
ending this calendar year with such an important retreat.  We need to get 
at least 10 people signed up in order to make the retreat happen.

if you're interested.  Cost will depend on attendees, but will like be around 
$500/person for the entire retreat, including lodging and food.

Due to the Labor Day holiday, there will be no class on Sept 1.

Classes resume on the normal times the following week.

We are blessed to have another qualified teacher from retreat in Thailand 
visit us over the next 6 weeks.

Thomas has been studying and practicing Buddhism almost a decade and 
was ordained as a monastic for three years between 2004 and 2008. He 
takes complicated teachings and delivers them in an accessible, 
straightforward and often light-hearted manner. He says his greatest gift 
may be helping to steer other practitioners away from the many "practice-
potholes" he has visited on his path.

As student of Ringu Tulku Rinpoche and Gen-La Chokyi Dhakpa, Thomas 
has participated in multiple 30-day group and solo meditation retreats as well 
as longer-term retreats of both 90 days and one year in duration. He has 
traveled on pilgrimage and for teachings to India, Tibet, Nepal, 
Myanmar/Burma and Thailand.

Please come see him in classes, starting August 31st.  His schedule will be
